SPRING BREAK!

So this year my Spring Break wasn't spent in New York. :( But I took work off anyway to scrapbook the rest of my China pictures. Yes- it has been 3 years and I still haven't finished my scrapbooking. I spend most of my time looking through my journal so I can catch every memory 'just right'.

But I was a factory this week. I produced 36 pages. THIRTY-SIX PAGES!!!! My problem is that I want to scrap every picture. I took it for people to see, so I feel like I have to scrap it. My nephew calls in 'scrafting'. scrapping and crafting. I liked scrafting. I am almost done- but I feel very proud of myself. Thanks mom, for letting me set up shop in your kitchen.

I did learn a few things about myself, China, and scrapbooking over this week. Here's a few:

1. I MUST, repeat, MUST start getting ready and doing my hair and make-up when I go on vacation. No wonder I hate all of my vacation photos. I look like an orphan.

2. Scrafting must be done close to the event. If not, feelings change, people are cut out of pictures... I'm just saying, perception changes a lot in 3 years.

3. China is cool. Cool scenery, cool cheap DVD's, weird/sometimes good food, feeling anonymous, adventures around every corner. Very cool. Funny stuff too.

4. Scrafting in a kitchen, is a deterent, not convenient. Whenever I started to brain-fart, I would get a snack. A LOT.

5. Chinese kids are cute. Other kids too.

So while this Spring Break wasn't one that created memories, it sure was nice to revel in my previous memories.
