January... the beginning of 2012

January was yet a quick blur.
I blinked and became a month older.

Anywho, while I was rapidly aging, we had a pretty nice January.
Warning: photos below do not relate to each other except that each event occurred in January.

We welcomed our adorable nephew Bentley into the world!

He loves snuggles from his auntie.....
so much that he peed on her.

Jacob and the babe when he was 12 hours old.

Momma and me skewering kebabs.
I love kebabs.

Look at those babies.
Those bad boys taste as good as they look.

Winter has forgotten us.
So we went for a bike ride on our day off.

Next time gloves and ear warmers are in order, but it was still warm enough to pedal around.

On a more serious note..... where are you winter?! Our weeds have started to grow again!

We spent a night playing Phase 10. Jacob killed me. I hated that part.

Gordon and RoseAnn hosted an epic movie night: two HP movies in one night.
It was a little too much nerd action in one evening for me, but it was still fun.
Gordon went all out creating the movie experience with the treats. (I'm pretty sure the veggies are RA's idea.)

We finally went to Pizzeria 712 after talking about going there for ages.
It did not disappoint.
I just wanted to eat a bowlful of their caramelized onions.

There are no words.
Target does strange things to me.

  1. I think you're right-- the veggies were RA's idea.
