I never should've asked..

Today was the last day of class (hurrah!). And I made the mistake of asking my professor.....

"Are you using these books next semester so I can sell them back to the bookstore?"

Big mistake. I ever-so-earnestly just want some money for next semester. My teacher (who also wrote 3 of the books. kind of a big ego to use your own books) took offense. Instead of a yes or no, I got a 5 minute lecture on how some books are timeless and how we are living in a consumer society that is only focused on money and how we will sell our parents for money if need be.

Hmm. True. Some books are timeless. However, his are not. And it is all about money. I am going through school debt free. Selling my books helps out a lot. (I heard tuition might hike 31% due to the economy. Boo economy)

This class is my least favorite class, and is, ironically, the one that I quit my job for. Glad I quit the Fargo, not glad I took this class.

Pompous teacher, lies about people's ethnicity, and wears the same corduroy pants everyday.

Goodbye Professor. If you give me a bad grade, I'll know why.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel... Good luck on your finals, ya'll.

  1. I think if you sold your parents you would make a fortune - unlike the book used for your class. But please don't!
