Adventures in Babysitting...

It has been a long time since I have blogged about real life stuff. So here is a run-down...

-Last week Jacob and I stayed with my sisters while my parents frolicked in Hawaii. Luckies. We had some fun here though. Minus waking up to take my sister roading at 6 am.

We had a Harry Potter Movie Marathon and we made Jacob our Harry Potter. (i think he is much cuter than that daniel radcliffe fellow)

- We celebrated my un-birthday at Tucanos. The trick is to let them now at the very beginning what you want them to bring out. I learned how to ask for pineapple in Portuguese so I get the first pick every time they brought out pineapple. I definitely ate my money's worth.

Note: $13 worth of pineapple does not feel good. i felt sloshy for hours.

-In other news, we were called to the primary teaching the 7 turning 8-year-olds. We were spoiled with a really good first week so we got a little over confident. Weeks 2 and 3 have been a steady downhill slope. Here's hoping that week 4 will turn around.
That's our week in a nutshell. Only a week and a half until Spring Break! (not for you cougars. suckas).
p.s. does anyone know of any good summer PR internships? kindly let me know if you do....

  2. That's the age group Brock and I taught before we moved, too. They're hard little ones! But hey, what's China for if it doesn't teach you how to deal with unruly kids?!! And can I just tell you how fun it is to eat at Tucanos just because of the pineapple! It reminds me of The Amazon in China and the pineapple was my favorite thing there, too. We should have our next reunion there...haha
