Working 9 to 5.....


It's happened. 
I have been hired.
Phew. 

I am working for a nonprofit as a 
volunteer coordinator/public relations specialist.

Finding the job was serendipitous. 
(Long story ahead)
I was applying for a different job (non pr related) that I saw in the classifieds. 
Right before I went to bed, I turned over the paper and saw the ad for the job.
The ending date was the next day. I stayed up as late as I could to fill out the application, worked on it on my lunch break the next day, and sent it out at 5:27 p.m., three minutes before it was due.

I like to think it was something like fate that I saw it when I did.
Meant to be, and all that.
My first day was this past Monday.
So far, so good. 
I am pretty tired getting used to working four 10 hour shifts, 
but I will LOVE three day weekends.
It is a little overwhelming.

I have my very own cubicle.
And when I am feeling a little boxed in,
I can always look out of my painted on window on my wall.
Yes, that is on my wall.
