Bitter cold January

Big things have been happening lately. More aptly described, big beginnings.

January marked the beginning of Jacob's final semester until he is a an official college graduate.
I. can't. wait.
Homework is for the birds, especially when the other person doesn't have any and wants to watch Alias.

JoEllen (my SIL) got married! It was such a beautiful sealing ceremony (short and sweet, my favorite combo) and such a great couple.

Waiting for the bride and groom. brrrrrrrr.

The reception was held at Sundance. The drive up the canyon reminded me why I love, I mean love, winter in Utah. There is something so magical about snow frosting the edges of branches. Don't get me wrong, I hate the bitter snip of cold chilling through every layer of clothing while I am driving to work in the morning. But when it snows, everything changes. I adore it.

This is how John spent most of his night. One in each arm.

Jess on cargo netting hanging from their balcony, obvs. This is classic John putting up a climbing apparatus in their living room. I love it. Mostly I just like watching the kids getting tangled in it.

I'm still recovering from all the late nights (and we even missed the game night that lasted until 5 a.m.) and a jam-packed weekend... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
